Massage Treatments at Calming Massage:

Calming Massage offers various types of massage treatments, which are extremely therapeutic. They consists of a mixture between soft and deep tissue strokes. 

Soft Tissue strokes includes techniques less intrusive than the deep tissue. They work with your muscles, tendons, ligaments and help to relax yourself, reducing muscle tensions and improving blood circulation.

Deep Tissue strokes are instead focused on the deep layers of muscles to break down painful knots. They work using slow and firm pressures that are concentrated on particular areas of the body, such as shoulders, affected by rigidity and stiffness, reducing inflammations.

Swedish Massage Treatments:

This is the classic and traditional massage performed and it is aimed to manipulate soft tissue for relaxation and holistic therapeutic purposes through the application of gentle pressure. It is very restorative and it provides calm and balance.

Finest Full Body Massage

This is the longest massage service offered at Calming Massage.

The treatment consist in longer strokes, with the use of versatile, gentle or vigorous, massage techniques.  It is ideal for people who wish to release tension, stress, nervousness and anxiety, equally as muscular pain.  

Different types of Carrier massage oils, mixed with some Essential oils, are used during all the duration of the therapy, in order to ease away tensions, blockages and toxins.

Classic Full Body Massage

This massage treatment is similar to the Finest Full Body Massage, only around 30min shorter.

It is aimed to improve both mental and physical symptoms and it is suitable for people interested to find relaxation, relieving fatigues and stresses in a shorter time. 

Full Back Care Massage

This short type of massage therapy is focused on the full back of the body.

This therapy is aimed to those body areas that carry most of stress and where it is easily to find aches and pains. It Includes the back of the legs, lower and upper back, both feet, the neck and the head. 

Half Upper-Body Massage

This is one of the new, shorter massage therapies offered at Calming Massage.

This is a firm massage treatment, focused to ease away stress, stiffness and tension from the upper body, front and back. This treatment includes also face and scalp. 

Half Lower-Body Massage

This is another new and short massage treatments offered at Calming Massage.

This targeted massage is mainly focused on the manipulation of leg muscles and on the stimulation of blood circulation. The lower body massage can mitigate inflammation bringing benefits to the rest of the body.

Deep Tissue Massage

This new therapy is a slow massage with firm pressure and long strokes. It is an intense massage technique and it is typically used to alleviate aches and pains from exercise. 

The purpose is to release the tension and tightness held deeply in your muscles and your connective tissues.  

This treatment is typically focused on the primary body areas of discomfort, such as the back, neck, shoulders, buttocks and legs.  

Hot Stone Massage

This is one of the newest type of massage technique offered at Calming Massage.

It is a therapy that uses smooth, heated stones to provide warmth and relax the muscles. During the treatment, the hot stones are placed on specific points along your body to promote relaxation and relieve tension. The combination of heat and pressure helps to ease muscle stiffness, improve circulation, and calm the mind.
